- Introduction and Scope
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the website www.alfambelmontage.com and the booking of on-site furniture assembly services provided by ALFA Möbelmontage GmbH (“we,” “us,” or “our”), registered at Hauptstraße 105, 56182 Urbar, Germany. By accessing our website, submitting an inquiry form, or booking our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. These Terms comply with applicable German and European Union consumer protection regulations, including the German Civil Code (BGB) and the EU Consumer Rights Directive. - Service Description and Booking Process
We provide professional on-site furniture assembly services for consumers and businesses.
Inquiry and Quotation: Customers may submit an inquiry through our online contact form to discuss specific project details, requirements, and custom specifications. Following this consultation, we provide a tailored quotation specifying the scope of work and the final price.
Deposit and Booking Confirmation: To secure a scheduled appointment, customers are required to pay an initial deposit as specified in the quotation. The remaining balance for the service is due upon completion of the work. A binding service contract is formed only upon our explicit confirmation of the booking following receipt of the deposit.
- Pricing and Payment Terms
All prices stated on our website or in individual quotations are quoted in Euros (EUR) and include statutory German value-added tax (VAT) where applicable.
Payment for the deposit and final balance must be completed through the approved electronic payment methods available on our platform.
Invoices for the remaining balance are payable immediately upon the satisfactory completion of the on-site assembly service unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- Right of Withdrawal (Cancellation Policy)
If you contract our services as a consumer (acting for purposes outside your trade, business, or profession), you are entitled to a statutory right of withdrawal under European consumer law.
Withdrawal Period: You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen (14) days from the day of the conclusion of the contract, without giving any reason.
Exercise of Withdrawal: To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us (ALFA Möbelmontage GmbH, Hauptstraße 105, 56182 Urbar, Germany, Email: installation@alfambelmontage.com) of your decision by means of a clear statement.
Premature Expiry of Withdrawal Right: For service contracts, the right of withdrawal expires prematurely if we have performed the service fully and have only begun performing the service after you have given your explicit prior consent and acknowledged that you will lose your right of withdrawal once the contract has been fully performed by us. If you requested that the services begin during the withdrawal period, you shall pay us an amount proportional to the services provided up to the time you communicated your withdrawal.
- Customer Obligations and Site Preparation
To ensure safe and efficient execution of the on-site assembly, the customer agrees to:
Ensure clear, unobstructed access to the installation area and provide adequate lighting, electricity, and workspace.
Verify that the installation site floors and walls are structurally sound and capable of supporting the furniture items to be assembled or mounted.
Ensure that all items to be assembled are present and located in the designated room prior to our arrival. We reserve the right to adjust pricing or reschedule appointments if site conditions differ significantly from the details provided during the initial consultation.
- Limitation of Liability
We shall be liable for damages in accordance with statutory German provisions for intent and gross negligence. In cases of ordinary negligence, our liability is limited to the breach of essential contractual obligations (cardinal obligations), the fulfillment of which makes the proper execution of the contract possible in the first place and upon which the customer regularly relies. In such cases, liability is limited to the typical and foreseeable damage at the time of contract conclusion. The aforementioned limitations of liability do not apply to injury to life, limb, or health, or to mandatory statutory liabilities under the German Product Liability Act. - Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms and any contracts concluded hereunder shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG), provided that such choice of law does not deprive a consumer of the protection afforded by mandatory provisions of the law of their country of habitual residence.
